We drive to Trisuli in the morning and have a lunch over there, After lunch, we walk for about 3 hours to Salangkhu Khola and camp.
02 Day
An easy walk and then a short climb takes us Kalawale village for lunch. After lunch, we proceed to the big Tamang village of Balche for our overnight camp.
We take an easy walk from Balche village through a forest and camp with the peaks of Langtang Lirung and Gosainkunda in sight.
We walk through rhododendron forests to camp either at Rupchet, a cattle pasture or up on the Singla pass (4600m) The Singla pass offers spectaculars views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Baudha Peak, Himal Chuli, Machhapuchare, Annapurna South and Annapurna II
05Day
Reception and welcome with garlands at Kathmandu airport followed by transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu on BB plan
06Day
We climb gently over a hill and then descend through forests to camp at Mongeythanti
07Day
A gradual walk down through forests with lunch by a stream brings us to our camp at Dumchet village.
We take a gradual walk today to Baseri and camp near the Budhigandaki River
09Day
We walk along the bank of the Budhigandaki River and stop at Arughat bazaar for the night.
We gradually climb the Khanchowk Danda crossing the Mukti Khola and camp for the night
We cross a ridge today and walk gradually uphill to Gorkha, camping near the old palace.
We will tour Gokharna palace, the palace of the King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who united Nepal in 1881AD then visit the bazaar, before driving back to Kathmandu.
The Weather can be unpredictable during your trek around Ganesh Himal, at any time of year, so warm clothes and a good sleeping bag are essential.
