The mesmerizing journey of Simikot Kailash starts from Humla a far western Nepal, following Karnali river, wonderful mountain area, past villages of the Thakuri, and across the Nara Lagna Pass from the 4580m high pass, where you can see the vast Tibetan plateau. You will hike to the Nepali/Tibetan border till the village of Sher on the Tibetan side, where a vehicle will pick you up and drive to Taklakot. We continue drive till Darchen, stop by Lake Mansarovar which is considered to be the remains of the great Lake Tethys—the source of all creation.
Trekking up to Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar takes you through some of the most beautiful places you have probably ever come across. It is a journey through places devoid of any cacophony of modern day life, through places where only love and peace prevails.
