With over 60,000 visitors a year, the Annapurna region is one of the most popular regions amongst trekkers, and it is not a surprise to know that Annapurna region host some of the famous trails in Nepal. Annapurna Base Camp trek is for those who wish to do a short trek in Nepal on an easy trail. The trek offers a spectacular view of the Mt. Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and also an opportunity to experience typical Nepali village and traditional living style of Himalayan people. The itinerary consists of total 15 days trip starting from Kathmandu. However, our sublime trek will begin from the pretty village of Nayapul as we hike the trails through Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chomrong, Bamboo and Machhapuchhre Base Camp to reach Annapurna Base Camp. Throughout the trek, you will be passing through spectacular landscapes, beautiful forests of oak, magnolia & dense rhododendron forest, charming traditional Gurung, Magar & Thakali village. After reaching ABC, you will be reverting back to Pokhara via Jhinu Danda & Pothana, on the way you will haul up at Jhinu Danda to soak of the sweat of your bodies in the healthy hot spring found there & then head back to Pokhara and Kathmandu.

You will find that you have arrived in Kathmandu at the sight of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range. It will be a memorable moment! The Nepalese capital is located in a wide valley at 1340 meters above sea level. At the airport you will find our staff waiting for you. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, rest and then city tours: visit Kathmandu's Durbar Square and return to Thamel on foot, through the most authentic Kathmandu of Indra Chowk and Ason Chowk, accompanied by local speaking Italian guide ..

Breakfast at the hotel. Day dedicated to the visit of historical and cultural Kathmandu, with local Italian speaking guide. Visit to the Buddhist monastery of Boudhnath, the biggest stupa in Nepal and the Hindu temple of Pashupatinat, a Hindu ceremony, and then conclude with a visit to the Monkey Temple, a mix of Hinduism and Buddhism, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Kathmandu.

After breakfast, departure to the beautiful town of Pokhara, located on the shores of Lake Phewal, at the foot of the Annapurna massif. Rest of the day available for rest and last pre-trekking shopping. Free dinner and overnight at Hotel Lake Front or similar.

After breakfast transfer by private van to Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. From here, we reach our first stop, the small village of Ulleri, about 2000 meters above sea level. The route does not provide great difficulty, only the last ramp that separates the villages of Tikhedunga from that of Ulleri can engage our body.

After breakfast, trek of about 4-5 hours to reach the village of Ghorepani (2853 mt), a very characteristic place that enjoys superlative views of Annapurna, Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri and other peaks of over 7000/8000 mt. We settle in one of the many comfortable lodges.

Today, the day can be considered slightly more tiring, given the wake-up time around 4.30, and the next walk of about 45/60 minutes to the viewing point of Poon Hill. But here we will be repaid of the effort. The views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri are simply spectacular, and the battery of our camera will be put to the test of resistance. After dawn, we return to the lodge for the sacred breakfast, then leave again and reach, after about 4.30 hours of walking, the village of Tadapani. Even from here we can not complain, the views of the Himalayan chain are really beautiful.

After breakfast, I find myself in the lodge's lobby and we leave for Chhomrong, the first village in the valley that will take us to the Base Camp. The trekking today is not particularly challenging, it will be to go down to the bottom of the valley, and then go back to reach precisely the next valley. Chhomrong enjoys excellent views of the South Annapurna and Machhapuchre, the sacred mountain that resembles our Matterhorn

As every morning, after a hearty breakfast, we resume the march and we get closer and closer to our goal. The next stop is Hotel Himalaya, a charming name for a small village, a few lodges, relaxing and very enjoyable. The good dinner prepared by one of the local Didi will put us back in no time in no time. And sleep will reconcile our desire to start again shortly after a few hours to reach the Base Camp.

The base camp, whatever it is, provokes in the head and heart of any hiker a feeling of happiness and passion. This is why today we decide to reach the Base Camp of Machhapuchre, which in reality nobody can ever climb, because this mountain is considered sacred by the Nepalese. The place is still fascinating, and the share starts to feel. Tomorrow is the big day. The goal is near!

Today we leave very early to reach the Sanctuary even if the distance to be covered is two hours at most walking peacefully. We arrive at the base camp of one of the Himalayan giants, the Annapurna, 8091 meters, one of the most demanding peaks of the fourteen 8,000! The base camp is located at almost 4,200 meters, and is a unique and fascinating place. We are completely surrounded by dozens of peaks between 6,500 meters and 8,000 meters. A show and an emotion difficult to forget. After resting a couple of hours we begin our descent towards the small village of Bamboo.

It is always thought that the journey is over once the goal is reached. Not so, there are still many surprises waiting for us. Today's day, almost mainly downhill, will allow us in a few hours to reach the small village of Jhinu Danda, and especially the pools of hot thermal water located right on the river. At the end of a trek is a gift that every hiker would appreciate.

Start your day early. Walk downhill and cross the Kimrong River once again. Continue your journey until you have reached Siwai, where you will find a bus or a jeep that will take you to Pokhara.

Return to Kathmandu after breakfast. In the afternoon, visit Patan's Durbar Square with local Italian speaking guide. In Durbar Square there are some spectacular temples, dating back to the era of the ancient imperial cities, including the palace of the king and the temple dedicated to the Hindu God, Krishna Mandir, built entirely of stone with rare sculptures inside. Return to Kathmandu for overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel we leave for today's visits, with local speaking Italian guide. We will visit Changu Narayan temple and the ancient village that surrounds it. Then we stop at Timi, the fourth largest city in the valley, 4 km from Bhaktapur. It is said that the real name was Chhemi, which means "expert people". Recently the city has restored its ancient name, Madhyapur, "the middle city", as it remains in the midst of the rampant development of Kathmandu and the spirit of conservation of Bhaktapur. We will see the Chortens and Temples of the city and the sixteenth century pagoda Balkumari, a symbol of fertility. Along another 4 km we will meet in the fantastic town of Bhaktapur and the famous Durbar Square where we can admire the famous palace with 55 windows built in 1754,
