Highlights of Khopra Ridge The view from Khopra ridge are highly recomened. The hightest point of the trek (3800m) that rests on one side of Annapurna South, are different that of Poon Hill.
The trail steeply ascends on the long stone steps to Ulleri village with scenery of terraced landscapes and the Annapurna Himalayas. After several hours of long hard climb in a several breaks we will reach Ulleri village. From here the path is gradual on a winding trail through the cool shade of forests. The walk continues with a few short ups and downs while walking in the midst of the giant rhododendorn forest. We reach Ghorepani after a good -56 hours of trekking.
To catch the magnificent splendor of sunrise over the Himalayas, we make on early morning climb along the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3200mtrs). Poon Hill (3210m/10529ft) is a great viewpoint from where we will be able to enjoy wonderful panoramic view of the Mustang part and Pokhara valleys including the closest views of more than 20 highest maintains - especially close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The snowy peaks of the high mountains loom above and around us glowing in the morning light.After taking pictures and having some coffee, tea or hot chocolate, we return to Ghorepani, After breakfast, we will trek to the non-touristic village Swanta overnight stay at a family house or community lodge (2227m)

About 4-5 hours trek to Khopra Dada, with a great view of various mountain ranges including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna Fang, Tukche Peak Machhapuchhre.
6 hours walk through high mountain trail, hilly ridges with great views of Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna range. Overnight at Baile Community Lodge.
Wildlife, mountains, jungle and trekking
The day starts with a short downhill descent. After leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forest and then the trail eases as we reach Ghandruk, which is the village of the Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal. This part of trek is through a thick forest of old rhododendron trees. We enter the village of Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by Gurung people. Besides enjoying the stunningly close-up towering views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains, we will also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk. Lunch break at Ghandruk village, then 3 hours trek to Jhinu Dada Hotspring for a night stop at guest house with hot shower.
Trek from Jhinu Danda to New Bridge and then to Kyumi village. After lunch, we trek to Syauli bazar and then down to Birethanti. After about less than hour trek from Birethanti, we will arrive at Nayapul. The trek ends here. From Nayapul we drive in a local available vehicle and reach Pokhara in about an hour. Around late afternoon, overnight at hotel in Lake side.
Morning we'll have drive back through the scenic countryside and en route will stop for lunch and breakfast. It takes 7 hours to back to Kathmandu.
